Clusters

Design of housing- and mixed use units for Tilburg, the Netherlands.

In this competition we worked towards developing a model for a programmatically mixed community, in which the smallest spatial units could be combined over time to accommodate for shifts in social needs in terms of interconnection and spatial layout. The housing units are arranged in “clusters”, with private courtyards at the centre and public access around the perimeter.
